Rolando Brown, Chief Cultivator :: _Facebook, _Twitter, _Flickr
A marketing, technology and business development consultant by trade, Rolando Brown has helped launch new products for over a dozen clients. As Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for August Bishop, a New York-based marketing firm, he played an instrumental role in the agency’s successful acquisition and launch of products for L’Oréal, Turner Broadcasting Network, Sprite, the New York Knicks, Def Jam University and several other corporate clients.
Having majored in Leadership and Management Studies with concentrations in Organizational Behavior and Advertising/Public Relations at New York University, Rolando's core competency lies in his ability to add breadth and depth to consumer technology in order to improve organizational capacity and personal productivity. A social entrepreneur armed with a commitment to creating economic and social advances in under-served communities, Brown works in both the profit and nonprofit sectors to develop processes of innovation and problem solving.
James Bartlett, Chief Executive :: _Facebook, _Twitter
As a successful marketer, strategist, and entrepreneur, experienced in such areas as publishing and new media, James Bartlett has engineered the growth of multiple media brands. Bartlett served as Director of Business Development for The Ave Magazine, managing both circulation and marketing activities for the publication. Bartlett also conceived and executed the online marketing campaign for a book of short stories, Next Stop Hollywood, published by St. Martin's Press, which recently had two stories optioned by major film studios.
In addition to serving as Chief Executive of Parallel MVMT, Bartlett has had a major hand in the development of other new companies, most notably, MultiMedicus, a venture-funded health information publisher. Bartlett's proven talents lie in the ability to analyze business structures and scenarios and identify actionable steps necessary to reach successful outcomes. Bartlett holds a Bachelor's Degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Master's Degree in Publishing from New York University.

Brand Architect of 1 Soul Designs & owner of Fresthetic, Michael has launched several successful arts and community based businesses. Michael's motivation is based in facilitating economic and intellectual contributions to the youth and community around him. With a strong reputation for promoting social, political and cultural awareness in order to provoke change, Michael focuses primarily on using art and entrepreneurship to raise consciousness in the community.
His work has impacted communities in NYC, San Francisco, Cuba, Vieques, Mexico and Guatemala. Michael holds a communication design degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York.

Terence Nance is an award-winning filmmaker and artist. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art Practice from Northeastern University and received his Master of Fine Arts in Film, Video, Performance, Installation and New Media from New York University. Nance's films have been screened at festivals worldwide including Swaziland's Golden Lion Film Festival (Africa) and the Boston Underground Film Festival (United States). He has also exhibited video installations and performances at The Rosenberg Gallery and the 80 Washington Sq East Galleries, both in Manhattan.

An avid contributor to community based organizations, Hinna Jafri has focused on utilizing creative writing, film, photography as a means to combating societal-skewed realities through the 'word of art.' Fascinated with media and others' perception of it, Hinna hopes to express her own realities by harnessing her diversity and skills to provide to those 'disenfranchised.' Hinna recently received her Bachelor of Arts from New York University with a double major in Political Science and Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies and a minor in Music. She worked for the United Nations Federal Population Fund focusing on AIDS education / awareness in the Middle East & Eastern Europe, the indie-cultured Tokion Magazine, and New York City Council member Jessica Lappin.
She currently is part of the production team for documentary With Wings and Roots, exploring the relationships between culture and identity of immigrant children. As a proud member of the Parallel MVMT team, she looks forward to addressing community issues through 'Web 2.0', interactive user-dom, and the Internet to bring nonprofits and organizations up to speed with today's social networking.

Allan Cole specializes in Web and Interface Design backed by a passion for creating things that simply look good and are easy to use. He is a proud alumnus of The Cooper Union where he majored in Design and Drawing. Allan is also a Music Producer and Wordpress Expert, and is always looking for new exciting projects.

Caitlin Meissner is a poet, performer, educator and graphic designer with a BFA from Pratt Institute. In all mediums, it is Caitlin's long-standing goal to impact social change on individual, community and global levels. Combining her unique blend of skill sets in each setting, she uses art as a means of creating more fulfilling life experiences. In addition to offering design consultation to various non-profits and grassroots level artists, Caitlin holds residency teaching poetry and mixed media digital arts to elementary, middle and high school students in New York City public schools through Urban Arts Partnership.
Caitlin has served as Project Coordinator of the successful all-woman Saturday Performance Series at The Lower Eastside Girls Club, loaned her creative talents to the Unilever corporation's Lux rebranding campaign and has performed everywhere from Columbia University to Riker's Island. Recently honored as the winner of the OneWorld Poetry Contest, Caitlin attended the 2008 inaugural Pan-African Literary Forum in Accra, Ghana, studying under Pulitzer Prize winner Yusef Komunyakaa and other luminaries from the literary African diaspora. All in all, Her journey is to live, and help others live, as magically as possible.
Eli Jacobs-Fantauzzi, Artist :: _Facebook, _Youtube
Eli Jacobs-Fantauzzi is a film director making his mark in the international documentary scene. A graduate of UC Berkeley, he received his MA degree from NYU Tisch School of the Arts (2004). Before graduation, he won the prestigious juried Student Filmmaker Award from the Pan-African Film Festival for his documentary Inventos; Hip Hop Cubano. Eli has worked on film projects in the U.S., Europe, and India. You can also find Eli's work in Jeff Changes book "Total Chaos: The Art and Aesthetics of Hip Hop". His dedication to his craft is deeply connected to his commitment to social justice.

Dexter Wimberly is a New York-based communications expert, researcher and brand strategist who has consulted some of the world’s leading brands. In 1995, at the age of 21, Wimberly co-founded the groundbreaking public relations and marketing firm August Bishop LLC. For 14 years he lead the company’s steady growth. As Managing Partner, Wimberly spearheaded the acquisition of several blue chip clients including Adidas America, The Coca-Cola Company, HBO, Virgin Mobile, and Time Warner.
Wimberly has a proven track record of helping companies innovate while strengthening the impact of their marketing and communications campaigns. Wimberly is particularly focused on helping brands tap into emerging markets while highlighting the importance of reaching multicultural consumers.
